"There's no business like show business, like no business I know."Presentations are part-tutorial, part show. The best sort makes you think the speaker just got tapped to speak a few minutes beforehand. Of course this is not true, there are hours and hours of preparation sunk into making that presentation appear effortless. Once an audience is drawn into a presentation, anything which breaks the mirage detracts from the efficacy of information transfer. Absolutely nothing does this worse in a PowerPoint-based presentation than the speaker walking back to bang on the keyboard, baboon-like, to advance each slide. Not much better is looking down at the fist-large "clicker" in the speaker's hand, `CLICK', `CLICK'. Enter the Genius Ring Presenter. This tiny wonder is both a presentation clicker as well as a full-fledged mouse AND a laser pointer.
