Figured a 14" laptop would offer a great balance of portability and size to get the job done in college. I was originally looking to get a laptop that has an Intel i3 processor minimum. But the only decent one I found was at least $100+ than this one. Anyway, I determined a college student wouldn't need much processing power to tackle the normal tasks that a student in college should be doing anyway (i.e. emails, internet surfing, word processing, etc.). Don't be fooled, I was surprised at how fast and snappy the Pentium dual core processor is in this system. I was able to start this machine up pretty fast and the setup was a breeze. To my surprise, there was very little bloatware too. My only comparison I have really is my Sony Vaio 14" laptop (VPCCW13FX) that I got several years ago.
